Mississippi Affordable College Savings Program (MACS)

Give Your Employees an Added Benefit: At No Cost to You

Thank you for your interest in the Mississippi Affordable College Savings Program (MACS). We are pleased to provide you with an online Employer Payroll Deduction Guide designed to help you establish and successfully promote the payroll deduction feature for MACS to your employees.

With your interest in establishing the payroll deduction feature for MACS, you are helping your employees take the first step in becoming better prepared for future education expenses. MACS offers various tax advantages and flexibility in order to help employees begin the important process of saving for higher education. The payroll deduction feature makes saving even more convenient for your employees and requires a minimal amount of work from you, the employer.

The second step of this process rests with us. We are here to provide education about MACS in a variety of ways. We are available, at no cost to you, to host on-site employee seminars, online web-based presentations, or attend employee benefit fairs to educate your employees about MACS and its many benefits. There are other employer resources available to you, again all at no cost to you, such as posters and table tents, which are perfect for the cafeteria and other common areas. Using these resources can help more employees to take advantage of this benefit.
